Reverend Bill Eaves, Lead Pastor

Where do you come from?

I grew up in Georgia, went to school at the University of the South, Yale Divinity School, and United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities.  I’ve lived in Minnesota for more than 15 years now, but served previously as a pastor in Kentucky.

What do you do at UMCA?

As one of the pastors, I focus mostly on preaching, teaching, and giving leadership to our fantastic church staff.  I love to see people grow in their relationship with God so they can become more loving, more giving, and more courageous in their living!

What would you do if you had some spare time?

Go snowshoeing or take a long walk, read a good book or have a long conversation with someone, or if I had a little more spare time I’d take a trip with my wife Sherry – maybe up north.
