New Wednesday Morning 10am and Evening 7:10pm Study in Lent
How did letters become a part of the Bible? And why do we continue to read these ancient letters today? What is their message for us? For six weeks we will look at the New Testament letters of James, Peter, John, and Jude and discover how these personal letters from long ago can be relevant to our Christian journey today. The class begins on Wednesday, February 22. Sign up on the bulletin board in the Fellowship Hall or on the Opportunities Sheet in your Sunday bulletin.
The Bible in Five Weeks
A new 5-week class for adults begins on Wednesday, January 18. This is not intended to be an intense study of the dates and facts of history (and you don't have to read the whole Bible in one week)! Instead this class will look at the "big story" - the major themes of the Bible - and will teach you how to read it and to use it in your life.
Led by Pastor Bill, the class begins at 7:10pm each Wednesday. Sign up in the Sunday bulletin or on the bulletin board.
For 7 weeks, beginning Wednesday 10:00a.m. January 4, 2012
