Nursery

   Dear Parents,

We welcome you and your child to our church nursery. Our staff includes a paid nursery supervisor and volunteers. Regular Sunday morning nursery hours are 8:00-11:30.
~Please fill out the sign-in sheet on the counter. If this is your first time in the nursery please complete a registration form so we can better care for your child.
~Make sure your child’s diaper bag and other personal items are labeled.
~The parent or adult who signs the child in should be the same one who picks up and signs out the child.
~We encourage you to take a vibrating pager with you in case we need to contact you while your child is in our care. Be sure to note the number of the pager next to your child’s name on the sign-in sheet.

Saying goodbye with a smile

While most young infants make a smooth transition into the nursery, around 6-8 months most babies experience some degree of separation anxiety. This is actually a healthy stage, a sign that the baby is beginning to understand himself/herself as separate from the parent.
A regular routine when dropping off and picking up your child will help as will regular attendance. If your child cries when you leave the nursery please rest assured he/she will likely stop in just a few minutes.
